Kirkstall Brewery & Partners Tap Takeover SIBA Celebration

Our friends over at Kirkstall Brewery & their partners bring us a fantastic array of cask, keg & canned Beers for the month of March! The full range of beer is below. Our @lovelanebrewery social media accounts will keep you updated for what’s on each week!

Cask: 

Dissolution IPA 5.0% Brewed in memory of the dissolution of Kirkstall Abbey by Henry VIII, in 1539 AD, and the disbanding of the Abbey’s Cistercian order. This is a classic India Pale Ale, with a resolute hoppy kick and a lasting citrus finish. With an American amber malt profile that adds smooth caramel notes, balancing against the use of Chinook, Columbus, Centennial and Eureka! hops.

Pale Ale 4.0% This is our classic ale and one that was born out of our quest for uncompromising quality. A wonderfully golden session ale with fresh malt and hop aroma, leading to a satisfying bitter finish. We only use the best malt that we can get our hands on, so Maris Otter dominates the malt bill, backed by heaps of Cascade and Centennial hops. Easy to drink and perfect for every occasion.

Single Hop Session IPA Amarillo 4.5% Amarillo has been showcased in this Session IPA, highlighting the characteristics of this American hop. Citrus peel and grapefruit are at the forefront, with a clean malt base and subtle bitterness.

Keg:

Elevation Raspberry Tripel 9.0% Elevation is a raspberry Tripel that combines the fresh taste of raspberries with the complex, delicate style of Belgian beer. Balancing these flavours together give this beer a slight sweetness that develops through spicy phenols and over ripe fruity esters, brought on by using a Belgian yeast strain. Elevation might have a high ABV, but it hides this quite deceivingly, making this the perfect beer for sipping.

Dexter Milk Stout 4.5% Dark and rich, smooth and sweet. Aromas of cocoa powder and lightly roasted coffee. The flavour starts with a caramel sweetness, evolving into milk chocolate and coffee, with a cocoa powder finish.

Hedgerow Sour 4.0% Do remember picking blackberries and raspberries in the countryside? Keeping an eye out for Dock Leaves as you try to avoid the stinging nettles? These are the memories that have inspired us to brew Hedgerow, a bramble nettle kettle sour. The tangy taste of blackberries and brambles brings a subtle tartness that softens with the delicate herbal flavour of nettles.

Virtuous Session IPA 4.5% Our session IPA has a clean citrus aroma that gives way to a fruity hop flavour. Flavours of tropical and citrus fruits, with hints of pine and blueberry are perfectly balanced by its complex malt base, giving it a flavoursome yet refreshing profile. Gluten Free and Vegan too.

Providence New England Pale Ale 5.2% A hazy New England style pale ale with a punch of fruit flavours: peach, apricot, mango and lychee. A combination of Citra, Amarillo, Cascade and Mosaic hops come together with the malt bill to give you a beer full of juice, with a refreshingly soft bitter finish.
